Touring during 2006 to Design Centre Barnsley, The Devon Guild of Craftsmen, and The Harley Gallery Worksop, UK.
Presented by the Jerwood Charitable Foundation in collaboration with the Crafts Council, the annual Jerwood Applied Arts Prize was the most prestigious prize in the applied and decorative arts. Eight British metal makers were shortlisted for the £30,000 prize: Frances Brennan, Ane Christensen, David Clarke, Chris Knight, Junko Mori, Hans Stofer, Hiroshi Suzuki and Simone ten Hompel. A distinguished judging panel selected Simone ten Hompel as the winner. Curated by the Crafts Council, exhibition design by Ilka Schaumberg, exhibition graphics and catalogue by Marcia Mihotich, and exhibition build by Amos Marchant.
